Carbon Farming: Grazing cattle in union with nature

Farmers in Southern California are improving soil health using biological processes rather than chemicals. In the process, the amount of carbon sequestered by the soil increases. Water retention and crop yields improve too. A piece of good (albeit slightly dated) news on win-win experiments in agriculture to start the week on a good note. The fact that the story is from the US, otherwise often in the news for the wrong reasons these days, makes it even more delightful.
